One day at the Qutub! #QutubMinar is the tallest

One day at the Qutub!

#QutubMinar is the tallest brick tower in the world built around 13th century. Standing tall at 73 metres, the sculpture features intricate carvings and inscriptions from the Quran. Walking through the sprawling complex, you feel its scale and get to experience one of India’s finest art and architecture.

There is an iron pillar in the complex which was casted around 4th century and hasn’t rusted for over a millennium.

It was a delightful experience to walk around and learn about the history of this @unesco World Heritage site. #IncredibleIndia

The first time I passed by #QutubMinar was in 2014 and since then I always wanted to visit this iconic monument. After 10 years, I recently had the chance to make my trip to see this part of Delhi’s rich history and heritage.

Qutub Minar is the tallest brick tower in the world built around 13th century. Standing tall at 73 metres, the sculpture features intricate carvings and inscriptions from the Quran. It looks like a painting - clean, pristine and gorgeous.

It was featured in the movie ‘The Beach’ and ever since millions of people visit it every year. It gets very crowded and so the early boat catches the best views.

It’s closed for few months in a year for healing but worth a visit.
