Its been over seven months since I moved to the extremely extroverted United States and whenever I am on the streets, I would have people doing these 3 basic things. While I wonder how to react, they are gone not wanting to know the response.
When someone is 30 feet away, ‘smile’.
When they are 20 feet away, say ‘Hello’.
When they are 10 feet away, ask ‘How are you doing today’
Hence when you visit the United States remember these 3 rules that would certainly help you connecting with anyone you see.
